Your table
can’t meet
tonight.

The GM works late, one player has a kid with a fever, another is away for work. And the campaign skips another week. With Fablepost you play anyway: one message at a time, whenever each of you can.

A real game, in one minute.

The GM posts at 11:40 pm, Bram replies at 7:15 am, the die decides. These are the app’s real screens, in Italian for now: the app itself is also in English.

The campaign is there.
The evening to play it isn’t.

If at least two of these sound familiar, your campaign has been on hold for too long.

  • Finding a free evening for five takes a poll, and it falls through anyway.
  • The last session was a month ago and nobody remembers where you left off.
  • We tried WhatsApp, but the story gets lost between memes and voice notes.
  • On Discord a bot rolls the dice, the sheets live in one PDF and the rules in another.
  • The GM spends more time scheduling than telling the story.
  • Since we grew up, RPGs have turned into “whenever we can”.

The problem isn’t the game. It’s that you keep putting it off to an evening that never comes.

You don’t need a free evening.

You need a table that never closes.

Tonight, from the couch.

A whole campaign in chat. The app is the referee.

The Vellmar Lighthouse Game

Sample game: here the GM is an AI. At your table, you are the GM.

Why it’s not just another WhatsApp group

You’ve already tried with everyday chats. Here’s the difference, point by point.

    The usual way

The campaign in the same old group

    1. The story gets lost among memes, voice notes and “who’s free Saturday?”.
    2. A bot rolls the dice, or everyone rolls at home.
    3. The sheets live in a PDF nobody opens.
    4. The GM has to remember everything by heart.
    5. If someone disappears for a week, the scene gets stuck.

    The Fablepost way

    A chat made for playing

    1. Two rooms: Game for the story, Meta for everything else.
    2. The server rolls the dice: nobody can cheat.
    3. Every character has their own sheet, one tap away.
    4. The GM sets the difficulty in secret, the app resolves the roll.
    5. The story waits: you pick up right where you left off.

    How to start

Three steps, five minutes. Then the table is yours.

    1. 1

      You create the table

Sign in with Google, name the campaign and pick a cover.

You’re the GM, and you get a six-letter code.

    2. 2

      You send the code

Paste it in your friends’ group chat: whoever enters it joins and makes a character.

Everyone gets a sheet: Body, Mind, Spirit.

    3. 3

      Write when you can

You open the scene, they reply. When a check is needed, the app rolls and tells you how it went.

The campaign keeps going all week.

The doubt you have right now

    It’s normal. Here’s a straight answer.

Four friends around a kitchen table playing an RPG, with the GM screen, miniatures, dice and sheets

    The most common doubt

“RPGs are great out loud, around a table. Don’t you lose everything over messages?”

You lose the rhythm of one evening, and gain the rest of the week. Over messages everyone has time to think through their move instead of blurting it out, and the quiet ones get as much room as everyone else.

And it’s not meant to replace your game nights: when you can meet, play at the real table. Fablepost keeps the campaign alive in between.

It doesn’t replace the table. It keeps it open.

We play it every week with our own group: a campaign of over 170 messages.
